Congratulations to Dr. Chad Muhlenkamp for successfully completing the AASA National Superintendent Certification Program. He is one of only four superintendents in Kentucky to complete the program. We are thankful for his leadership and guidance.

GIS invites new families, including kindergartners and current GPA students, to participate in our district-wide Open Enrollment event. Families can enroll at any of our 5 schools and are encouraged to take building tours. Join us on 3/20/25 from 3-6. Join the Scottie Family!

Good evening Scotties Glasgow Independent will have NTI day #3 on Thursday, February 20th. No in person school due to some remaining road condition concerns and the forecasted threat and concern for black ice during the morning commute. Stay safe and hope to see you back Friday

Thank you to the Glasgow Police Department and their officers for working with GHS today to conduct a building check. K9 Officers Niko and Chaos worked hard and we appreciate the collaboration.

Come join the Commissioner of Education, as Dr. Fletcher host a town hall meeting on Tuesday, January 21st at GRREC to learn about the future of Kentucky education and accountability.

School will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We will see everyone on Tuesday!
