We consider it a privilege and an honor to be afforded the opportunity every day to educate our children- your children and we love our students. We take very seriously the responsibility of nurturing these students and the strengths they have that will make them well-rounded and confident individuals. We are dedicated to fostering and inspiring a love for reading because it is one of the keys that will open the world for our students! With that being one of our core beliefs, we are very fortunate to have a full time librarian along with a full time P.E., ART, and MUSIC teacher on staff at SGE for our students. We also stand solid and share in the belief that a strong basic math foundation is imperative for our children to be successful in all areas of life.
South Green is very excited about receiving an I Am A Leader Foundation Grant to implement The Leader In Me process with our students and staff. It is such an honor to be able to share this leadership process and grow in the Covey Habits. The core foundation is based upon the late Steven Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. I hope that you and your child will see the benefits of attending South Green Elementary.
