Chamber of Commerce Work Ethics Certification Award Money Bundle

Do you know a senior who could use $1000? The Glasgow-Barren Co Chamber of Commerce is offering a $1000 award to a GHS senior who demonstrates work ethics such as dependability, respect, and time management.  The $1000 can be used for college/university, technical school, start-up business, etc. The application dealine is March 17.  Click here for the application.

Highland Jr Beta Wins at State Convention Beta Group picture

Congratulations to the Highland Jr Beta Club for winning Group Talent at state convention.  Other winners include CJ Aubin 1st Place in Pencil Sketch and Mason Lowery 3rd Place Video Technology.  The Beta Club will be fundraising for their trip to Orlando in June.  We are proud of you!

Mardi Gras - Fat Thursday Dance Planned for March 2 Dance

K-Kids is hosting Mardi Gras Fat Thursday dance on Thursday, March 2 from 5:30 - 7:00.  Cost is $5 per student.  Students can pre-order tickets for $4.  Flyers and pre-order forms will be sent home asap.  If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Allison Key at allison.key@glasgow.kyschools.us.

Congratulations HEAT - District Governor's Cup Runners-Up HEAT team picture

Congratulations to Highland Elementary's Academic Team - the HEAT!  They won mutilple awards at District Governor's Cup and were Runners-Up overall!  Here are the individual results:
