Laura Johnson, Librarian at South Green Elementary, wants to encourage all of South Green's students to keep their reading and writing skills sharp over the summer. She hopes that students will participate in South Green's Summer Challenge (see related article "SGE's Summer Challenge!"), but also encourages students to complete an activity a day from the library's reading and writing summer calendars. Calendars for rising Kindergarteners, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders were sent home with students the last week of school, but you can also access the calendars here:
