Get ready for a party!!! On Wednesday, May 23rd, there will be a “Bye, Bye Building” Bash to say goodbye to the old Glasgow High School building. Its demolition is scheduled for mid-June so this is the only opportunity that we will have to tour the building one last time. The building will be open from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM on the evening of the 23rd. Come and go, or stay as long as you like and visit with fellow classmates and talk with many of your former teachers and coaches.
Classes can call and “reserve a room” for mini-class reunions, alumni can sign the “Wall of Remembrance” in the old building, as well as sign the interior of one of the columns of the new building, order a tee shirt memorializing the old building, and participate in even more exciting activities to be announced soon on WCLU and in the local newspapers.
Come say goodbye to a building that holds so many memories! The more people who come to the Bash the more fun we will have reminiscing, so spread the news to all of your GHS friends and family members! Don’t miss this unique opportunity to flash back in time to your days at GHS!
