Glasgow Independent Schools

Recently, school board member Elaine Richardson shared her talent and love of art with students at South Green Elementary. She collaborated with art teacher, Beverly Elliott, to instruct students in the use of watercolor. Students created their own art inspired by the works of Maurice Sendak and Joan Miro.
Everyone involved really enjoyed the collaboration. Mrs. Richardson said, "Working with Mrs. Elliott and her students was a real treat for me. Not only did I get to share my love of water color with them, they shared their enthusiasm, creativity, and curiosity with me. I was most impressed by their respectfulness and good manners. I had a great time and hope to be invited to come back!"
