Glasgow Independent Schools

Congratulations are in order for the members of South Green's Academic Team. They won first place at their District Governor's Cup competition on February 25th. Students competed in Quick Recall and Future Problem Solving and took written assessments in Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Written Composition. The Future Problem Solving Team placed 1st overall and the Quick Recall Team placed 2nd overall. In Math, Cade Bishop took 3rd place and Ryan Jones took 4th place. In Science, Lily Kate Mosely took 2nd place, Matthew Polson took 3rd place, and Cade Bishop took 4th place. In Social Studies, Elias Banegas took 3rd place and Makena McMurtrey took 4th place. In Language Arts, Palmer Lessenberry took 1st place. In Written Composition, Makena McMurtrey took 1st place. Good luck to the academic team as they head to Regional competition on March 17th.
