December 12-16 is STAR Awareness Week at South Green Elementary. During this week, we are encouraging higher awareness of STAR characteristics. What are STAR characteristics? S is for self-control. T is for trustworthy. A is for attentive. R is for respectful. These are characteristics we want to see our students exhibiting at school, at home, and in the community.
Monday, Dec. 12--"Being a South Green STAR is NO SWEAT!" Wear a sweat suit or sweat shirt.
Tuesday, Dec. 13--"I am a South Green STAR!" Wear as much yellow as you can.
Wednesday, Dec. 14--"South Green STARs are out during the DAY!" Wear your pj's.
Thursday, Dec. 15--"There's no MIX-UP, I'm a South Green STAR!" Wear mismatched clothing, socks, and shoes.
Friday, Dec. 16--"It's a TIE, we're all South Green STARS!" Wear a neck tie.
