The Glasgow Musicale will be hosting Scholarship Auditions for the Stephen Foster Music Camp held at Eastern Kentucky University each summer on Thursday March 14th.  Students interested in attending this fantastic summer camp, should prepare a short excerpt for the audition--solos and Ensembles Music or All-District Audition music would suffice.  Auditions will begin at 4:00pm in the Glasgow High School Band Room.  Auditions will be taken in the order students sign up.

The camp is open to students grades 7-12 (even graduating seniors may attend)

Monday, March 4th--Classtime Performance, Drs Land/McArthur

Tuesday, March 5th--Rehearsal, Lessons--Vocabulary Distribute

Wednesday, March 6th--Rehearsal, Lessons, GT Auditions

Thursday, March 7th--Rehearsal, Brass Sectionals 3:00-4:30

Friday, March 8th--Rehearsal, --PLAYING EXAMS FROM SMART MUSIC ARE DUE TODAY.  THIS MARKS THE END OF THE 9 WEEKS--YOU SHOULD HAVE 4 SMART MUSIC PLAYING TESTS COMPLETED, UNLESS YOU ARE A PERCUSSIONISTS, IN WHICH CASE 3 SHOULD BE COMPLETED, BUT PERCUSSION HAS A MAJOR UNIT OVER FLAM ACCENTS DUE ON MARCH 15th.

STUDENTS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO COME BEFORE SCHOOL OR STAY AFTER SCHOOL TO WORK ON SMART MUSIC ASSIGNMENTS--OR PURCHASE FOR HOME.

All Candy Bar Money and Remaining Candy Bars need to be returned to Mr. Bonds ASAP!  We need to wrap up this fundraiser and begin planning the next one!
