The Glasgow Independent Schools Education Foundation
seeks to provide educational opportunities and
enrichments which are not otherwise fully or
partially provided by the Glasgow Independent
Schools and which are consistent with the educational
objectives established by the Board of Education.
The Foundation serves the students of the Glasgow Independent
Schools by allowing individual and corporate donors to
promote educational excellence with tax-deductible gifts.
|
To that end, the Foundation seeks:
Outright Gifts-cash or long-term appreciated stocks and securities, often matched by the donor's employer, for specific or general purposes; Memorial gifts-funds to honor a deceased relative, friend, or educator; Deferred gifts-bequests, charitable remainder trusts, term trusts, gift annuities, life insurance policies, to be used as specified by the donor; and Special gifts-money to endow a specific purpose. The Glasgow Independent Schools Education Foundation, Inc. is recognized as a tax exempt charitable organization under Section 501(C3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation is organized as a charitable and educational non-profit corporation under the provision of Kentucky Revised Statutes Chapter 273. Governed by a Board of Directors, the Foundation's concern is for the quality of education in the Glasgow Independent Schools and for the current and future educational opportunities of Glasgow school students.
