In Memory of Christopher Catron

Glasgow Independent School District wishes to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Christopher Catron.  Chris was employed as the Chief Information Officer/District Technology Coordinator since December 2013.  Though his time with us was brief, we were all fortunate to have come to know him and blessed to call him a friend.  He passed away suddenly on Monday, February 8, 2016.  Chris graduated from Glasgow High School in 1991 and was excited to return to his hometown and rejoin the Glasgow School District.  He enjoyed his job and the ability it allowed him to serve his co-workers and the students of our district.   Chris leaves behind his wife, Alison Kinslow Catron and three stepchildren: Noah Anderson who graduated from Glasgow High School in 2015 and now attends Eastern Kentucky University; Jackson Ferrell, a freshman at GHS; and Elliott Ferrell who is in the 4th Grade at Highland Elementary.  Chris was a big UK Basketball fan and enjoyed traveling to Disneyworld with his family.  Anyone who knew Chris would describe him as a kind, patient and willing individual.  We cannot express in words the loss we feel, not only for a co-worker but a friend.
