Around the World in 80 Minutes World Map

Highland Elementary will be hosting a world language and culture fair! Come learn about the different cultures around the world on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 6:00.  Anyone in our community may visit.

After your passport in full, drop by the Highland Café for a taste of the world!  Sample food from Anna’s Restaurant, Gondolier Italian Restaurant and Shogun!

Highland Elementary students were recognized at the April GIS Board Meeting for some of their outstanding achievements.


Kindergarten Readiness Camp Kindergarten Readiness

Join us for Kindergarten Readiness Camp July 31 - August 4 from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm.  Early drop off begins at 6:45.  All students receive breakfast and lunch at no charge.  Please contact Mr. Harper for more information or to register at 270-659-0432.

Do you know a student who will be entering Kindergarten this fall?  Our Kindergarten Registration is set for Thursday, March 30 from 12 - 6.  Please bring a copy of the following:  birth certificate, social security card (if available), immunization form, and physical.  Please contact Mr. Harper (270-659-0432) if you have any questions.

Highland Jr Beta Wins at State Convention Beta Group picture

Congratulations to the Highland Jr Beta Club for winning Group Talent at state convention.  Other winners include CJ Aubin 1st Place in Pencil Sketch and Mason Lowery 3rd Place Video Technology.  The Beta Club will be fundraising for their trip to Orlando in June.  We are proud of you!


Congratulations HEAT - District Governor's Cup Runners-Up HEAT team picture

Congratulations to Highland Elementary's Academic Team - the HEAT!  They won mutilple awards at District Governor's Cup and were Runners-Up overall!  Here are the individual results:
